Simplified Serial Port ADS-B Ground Receiver ADSB-SS01

ADSB-SS01 is a simple ADS-B ground receiver engineered for precision surveillance applications. Featuring an onboard ADS-B signal processing module, this compact device delivers real-time ADS-B messages with full compliance to DO-260B/DO-260C standards. ADSB-SS01 can output raw ADS-B messages, including DF17 and DF18.

ADSB-SS01 provides ADS-B data reception, processing, and display services, and can be applied in fields such as civil aviation flight tracking, airport management, general aviation aircrafts surveillance, Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) subsystem, ADS-B IN capability for UAS situational awareness, radar calibration, academic research and education.

The device can output data simultaneously via USB and serial port. The serial interface supports the RS232 protocol by default, with optional RS485 support available (please inform us of the selected option when placing orders). RS422 or TTL customization is also available.

USB / SERIAL Configuration:

· Capable of processing DF17/DF18 data, or can be used for flight track display only;

· Data interface selectable between USB and serial port, default USB;

· USB connection provides both power supply and data transmission through a single cable;

· Serial output default in RS232, optionally RS485 (needs to inform us when placing orders); 

· Customizable RS422 or TTL output available; 

· Compact and lightweight design, easily portable and ready to use with a laptop.

Does the ADSB-SS01 support both USB and serial interfaces?
Yes.
The standard version uses a USB interface for both power supply and data communication through a single cable.
Serial interface is also supported, including:
·RS232 
·RS485 (optional)  
·RS422 (customized) 
·TTL (customized) 
This makes the receiver suitable for both PC-based applications and embedded systems.

Can the ADSB-SS01 output decoded ADS-B data?
No. The receiver can only output raw ADS-B messages in DF17/18 and Mode-S messages.

Can the ADSB-SS01 work with adsbScope?
Yes. The ADSB-SS01 is compatible with the aircraft display software adsbScope.

Does the ADSB-SS01 support OEM or customized versions?
Yes.
