Ultra-high receiving sensitivity
The ADSB-RE1090L ADS-B ground receiver achieves a maximum sensitivity of -97dBm for Mode-S frame detection, enabling it to capture extremely weak ADS-B/Mode S signals from long-distance aircraft, and it can work directly with a passive ADS-B antenna due to this high input sensitivity.
Elimination of the "doughnut effect"
This ADS-B ground receiver features a DSP-based hybrid reception algorithm and an ultra-fast signal level adaption input stage. This design allows simultaneous reception of very strong near-field ADS-B signals and very weak far-field ADS-B signals without signal loss, ensuring no blind spots in long-range ADS-B signal capture.
Optimized RF front-end and architecture
This ADS-B ground receiver integrates a sensitive RF frontend with an improved RF architecture, matched with an outstanding decoder circuit and enhanced firmware. This combination maximizes ADS-B signal processing performance, effectively amplifying and decoding weak long-range RF signals at 1090MHz (ADS-B Mode S frequency).
Support for high-gain antennas
This ADS-B ground receiver is compatible with high-gain antennas (supplied by AvionixTech) that further extend the receiving range and enable continuous long-range target tracking.
Low signal loss RF design
In ADSB-RE1090L, the RF input features a nominal 50 Ohm impedance, with impedance-controlled PCB track design applied to the antenna connection (e.g., microstrip lines for long tracks). This minimizes RF signal loss during transmission and preserves the integrity of long-range weak ADS-B signals.
High-precision signal processing
In ADSB-RE1090L, a high-speed data decoder and dedicated signal shaping/filtering circuits process the received RF signals with high efficiency, ensuring accurate decoding of long-range, low-amplitude ADS-B frames without data corruption.
This is why the ADSB-RE1090L is an ADS-B ground receiver for long range coverage.
